This chair brings a whole new meaning to sitting on the carpet. This design is another finalist in the 2008 Ample Sample competition. If you recall from our previous post, the Ample Sample Competition encourages designers to upcycle carpet samples into new uses. With 700,000 carpet samples being produced every year, it’s nice to see that some of them don’t end up in the landfill.
