Gallery: Chinoiserie: A Breezy Pop-Up Shelter Inspired by Mongolian Yur...

Inspired in a trip to Mongolia and China, Paris-based studio Encore Heureux designed a breezy temporary yurt for Bordeaux’s botanical gardens. Dubbed Chinoiserie, the structure is made from simple, locally sourced materials and it's a cross between a yurt, a carousel and a bandstand.

    It is not China, it is Mongolian, it made be mongolian yurt (originaly mongolian gher) design, so it would be named not ‘Chinoiserie’ but Mongolia serie!!!
