Chris Benz’s Candy-Colored Spring 2012 Line Sends Stars Buzzing at New York Fashion Week

Chris Benz [4] presented his Spring/Summer 2012 line at Lincoln Center [5] during New York Fashion Week [6] on Monday. The stage was filled with gently teased hair, shoulder pads, and ’60s-inspired pieces nearly exploding with color. While the ready-to-wear threads were uniquely beautiful, our favorite part was Benz’s plan to turn the pastel, silk backdrops into dresses. We also love that he’s going to auction off the new wares for charity – it would be quite the faux-pas to trash the gorgeous fabric.
