This clever piece by Joost Wever is made from wood scraps pieced together to form a side table with modern appeal. The top is flat, depicting a patchwork pattern squares and rectangles — but if you peek below, the wooden blocks have been arranged to form the skyline of Holland.

    Should artists be plugging their own work? Seems like a bit of an editorial short-circuit.

    Also, isn’t a skyline a feature of a city rather than an entire nation?
