Designer Benoit Lienart [1] is the master-mind behind the Sweetch18 – a clever transforming armchair/coffee table that was recently recognized by L’Observeur du Design 2011 [2]. We love seeing innovative examples of multifunctional furniture [3], and Lienart has done a great job of making Sweet18′s transformation from table to chair intuitive and easy to execute. Made from melamine and steel, the armchair/coffee table is meant to be used outside.
