Clunky Old School Bus Converted into a Sweet Earthy Home With a Wood-fired Stove

It’s not always warm up in the mountains, so this beauty has a rustic wood-fired stove [7] that you’d see in any earthy library, except this one is keeping a small bus nice and toasty. To keep it from being over-heated though, it’s possible to simply crack a window to promote natural ventilation [8].
The bus home is lined with wholesome timber and features the same kind of secure shelving and furniture that one might see on a boat to ensure minimum disturbance during travel. It also comes with fully functioning plumbing. Although old vehicles such as these aren’t the most fuel-efficient, and it would be unwise to travel too much, it seems almost certain that overall this project has a smaller carbon footprint [9] than the average new home.
