Born in Bogotá, Herrera has been developing her ‘Mathematics For Reality’ collection over the past two years. Blackbirds [7], hummingbirds [8], flamingoes, swans and toucans [9] are all part of the artist’s unique paper [10] creations. Only 24 years old, the Colombian industrial designer turned illustrator and artist creates beautiful birds sculptures that are both magical and simple. Herrera has composed scenes of bird and a flower, a bird carrying an eye and a bird chatting with a fish, using only paper.
