Colorful LED-Lit Skateboards Keep Thrashers Safe at Night

Clear29′s LT LED-lit skateboards [4]are a triple threat – they’re a green way to get around, they keep the rider safe at night and they look totally wicked. Each tricked-out board [5] is outfitted with LEDs that are powered by a 9V battery (how awesome would it be if these could be pedal-powered in the future instead), clear wheels, 9-inch high response gullwing mission trucks, and ABEC5 racing bearings. At $200 a pop, they aren’t the cheapest, but when you think about all the money you’ll be saving on gas and possible hospital bills, they’re worth it.
