Flat-Pack Cardboard Bookshelf Looks Like a Fallen Log
Posted By Toby Horrocks On December 7, 2010 @ 6:30 pm In green furniture,Green Products,Recycled Materials | No Comments
Australian architect Toby Horrocks [5] designed this set of flat-pack cardboard furniture to explore ways that urban and rural spaces can meet in a piece of furniture. The log book shelf [6] takes the theme literally: the form is a fallen tree trunk fused with a cityscape. Composed of over 300 digitally cut pieces assembled without glue, the structurally-sound seat and bookshelf is also made from recycled sources and is 100% recyclable.
