Agüevo is reversible and can be used in two different positions. It’s CNC manufactured and hand-finished in a local laboratory. The raw material comes from the Mediterranean cork oak forest of l’Empordà in Catalonia, Spain, which plays a key role in capturing CO2, preventing desertification, and preserving the Iberian Peninsula and the habitats of various endangered species. Cork is easy to recycle and its production is sustainable due to the fact that cork tree bark (quercus suber) is harvested every 10 years but the tree continues to live and grow.
