Fashion designers Robert Tagliapietra and Jeffrey Costello held their Spring/Summer 2013 show at New York Fashion Week on Thursday, and photographer Amanda Coen was in attendance to document the show for Ecouterre. Costello Tagliapietra’s dresses rippled down the runway in fresh, painterly prints and vivid jewel-toned solids. “We played with the way color interacted with itself,” Robert Costello, who credits AirDye’s water-saving technology for the intensity of the palette, tells Ecouterre backstage. “We wanted to capture the moment of falling in love.”
