Crea-Re Studio’s Pendant Lamps Cast Paper in a New Light at the London Design Festival

Crea-Re Studio is a collaborative team comprised of Polish artist Maria Fiter and Italian Marco Migliorisi. Together, they create a number of products which are all unique and hand-crafted in both Poland and Spain. The studio’s name is derived from “CREA” of “creativity” and “RE” for recycling: most of their creations are made with recycled materials, such as lamps made from unwanted newspapers and clips; shelves made from wood that’s destined to be discarded; bags made from old truck tarpaulin, etc. This new series of paper pendant lamps is 100 percent upcycled and eco-friendly. Each light cup is made from recycled paper pulp, and paired with red, yellow, or blue textile cables. They will be on exhibit from September 18-21st at Tent London, London Design Festival.
