What would it look like if Jackson Pollock dabbled in furniture design? Our guess is that this dynamic rocking chair by Valera Velev would be a pretty close match. Called the “Crimson Rocker,” it uses a salvaged piece of furniture as its base and is coated with a thick and vibrant layer of paint. Need accessories to match? Velev has a whole line of decor with a similar look and feel entitled ‘Fizz.’

    Jackson Pollock is to the (potential) intellectual values of fine art, as vandals are to the beauty of architecture.

    I’m not sure why but this chair demands my attention! I like the round, smooth look. This chair must get many second looks. I know it did for me. When I saw Denis Santachiara’s Tato, Tatino, Tatone I also had to take another glance.
