What would it look like if Jackson Pollock dabbled in furniture design? Our guess is that this dynamic rocking chair by Valera Velev would be a pretty close match. Called the “Crimson Rocker,” it uses a salvaged piece of furniture as its base and is coated with a thick and vibrant layer of paint. Need accessories to match? Velev has a whole line of decor with a similar look and feel entitled ‘Fizz.’

I’m not sure why but this chair demands my attention! I like the round, smooth look. This chair must get many second looks. I know it did for me. When I saw Denis Santachiara’s Tato, Tatino, Tatone I also had to take another glance.
Jackson Pollock is to the (potential) intellectual values of fine art, as vandals are to the beauty of architecture.
