		<description>Great story. Thanks.

If fellow inhabitat readers would like contribute to our effort to create a more sustainable New York City, go to our sustainable.nyc wiki page - http://bit.ly/hxtGG - and suggest domain names to set aside for that bright day in 2011 when the .nyc TLD goes live. The green names that have been suggested so far (both the good and the bad) are :

    * Bikelanes.nyc
    * Dematerialization.nyc
    * Eco-Friendly.nyc
    * Ecological-Footprint.nyc
    * Energy-Efficiency.nyc
    * Environmental-Justice.nyc
    * Geothermal-Energy.nyc
    * Global-Warming.nyc
    * Green.nyc
    * Green-Building.nyc
    * Green-Buildings.nyc
    * Green-Design.nyc
    * Greenwashing.nyc
    * Recycle.nyc
    * Recycling.nyc
    * Sustainability.nyc
    * Sustainable.nyc
    * Sustainable-Design.nyc
    * Sustainable-Development.nyc
    * Zero-Waste.nyc

You can either enter them on the wiki or email them to me at tom@connectingnyc.org.

And if you want to help establish standards for the &quot;portal&quot; names that receive special attention - i.e., are allocated to responsible entities - we welcome your participation.
