Without a single splash in sight this year, we thought that dumpster pools had entered the dark ages. But just last month Progressive Waste Solutions proved us wrong by hosting an event in Dallas’ design district featuring these beloved play pools! Progressive supplied two dumpsters, which were lined with a custom liner, and surrounded them with a deck complete with umbrellas, a swim-up bar, seating and lounge areas, and a lifeguard tower. The dumpsters were painted by Dallas’ award-winning street art collective Sour Grapes and Frisco’s Sharon van Antwerpen, making this pool truly one of a kind. The local fire department even helped out with the water needed to fill these beauties!
