Cerkahegyzo was inspired to start sculpting after he came across the work of Dalton Ghetti, who also uses graphite pencils as main design material. Both use razor blades and needles to carve out the shapes and the buffing capabilities of various types of sandpaper and polishing stones to put the finishing touches on the sculptures. Common pencils are transformed into intricate micro-versions of animals and everyday objects. The intricate detailing of the sculptures makes it hard to believe that they were created manually and not 3d printed.
