The Pinha Lamp is a delightful green lamp that is made from renewable cork and can be easily customized to suit any room. Designed by Tel-Aviv-born Royal College of Art graduates Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay (from Raw Edges), the lamp´s look can be switched in a snap by simply wrapping printed paper, a drawing, or a map around it and fastening it with a pin. The lamp takes its name from the shape of an upside-down spiky conifer flower, and it is completely made from cork, which is a biodegradable and fire-resistant material. If you love this green lamp then vote for it in the Bright Ideas Design Competition!
