Commute is a handsome, wooden representation of the boroughs of New York that also allows you to redesign the subway system. Created by Bobby Genalo [5], each piece is manufactured locally in the NY metro area, and made using ecologically harvested wood from Pennsylvania and sustainable rope. Commute is currently being sold as part of a limited run of just 100 through PlaySomething [6]‘s online shop. See a video of it in action here [7].
