Copenhagen is gearing up to throw its annual summer harbor festival—and you’re invited to design its 2015 festival poster. As the nation’s largest cultural harbor festival, the Kulturhavn attracts over 100,000 visitors a year who fill the city’s waterways with life and activity. The winning design will be used on all marketing material during the festival and should help spotlight Copenhagen as a culturally rich and diverse port city. The winner will be rewarded with DKK 15,000 (approximately $2,400 USD). Proposals must be submitted by March 18, 2015 and the winner will be notified by April 1, 2015.

AWARD/PRIZE

The selected design will be rewarded with DKK 15,000. The winner will be notified by 1 April 2015.

The name of the festival (in Danish): KULTURHAVN

Date and year: 7-9 August 2015 (in Danish: 7.-9. August 2015)

An important consideration is that the poster must make an impact and that the poster will be used as a recurrent design on all marketing material, which places special demands on the flexibility of the design.
