Enter Your Ideas In the 17th Annual International iF Bicycle Design Competition!September 15th, 2012

iF Taiwan's IBDC 2013 (International Bicycle Design Competition), bike design competition, product design competition, bicycle design competition, industrial design competition, product design competition, cycle design competition, transportation design competition

Are you a young designer with a passion for cycling? Enter your concepts and design ideas for all-things-bicycle in the 17th annual iF Taiwan’s IBDC 2013 (International Bicycle Design Competition)! The 10 best designs will have a chance to be developed into a prototype, and 10 selected designers will be awarded up to NT$ 500,000 in prizes. Students and recent graduates in all fields of design (e.g. product and fashion design, marketing and engineering) are invited to take part in this competition, which is sponsored by the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C. Concepts can be submitted in the following four categories: bicycles, components, clothing and accessories, and service/facility (parking systems, bike route designs, rental systems). Register and enter your designs by September 15, 2012.

AWARD/PRIZE

The award-winners of the 10 best entries will also be given an opportunity to work on creating a prototype of their own concept in a three-day workshop. In addition, a total purse in the amount of NT$ 500,000 (approx. 13,000 €) will be distributed among the winners.

The official Awards Ceremony and the exhibition of the prototypes and models will take place during the TAIPEI CYCLE Show 2013 (20 to 23 March).

The winners will also be presented in the iF online exhibition (www.ifdesign.de), on the IBDC website (www.ibdcaward.org) and in a specially prepared documentation.
