Enter the annualSTIR Student Design Contest and You Could Win $2500!April 15th, 2012

Sherwin-Williams, annualSTIR Student Design Contest, residential design competition, commercial design competition, green design competition, student design competition, eco design competitions, design competition cash, cash awards student design, architecture design competition

Sherwin-Williams has just launched its second annualSTIR Student Design Contest, recognizing excellence in student-generated residential and commercial design. Students may submit entries to the commercial or residential design category that use a minimum of three colors from the Sherwin-Williams palette. The first-place winners in each category will receive cash prizes of $2,500, second-place winners will receive $1,000, and third-place winners $500. The Facebook Fans’ Choice winners in each category will receive $250. Entries will be accepted exclusively through the Sherwin-Williams Designer and Architect Facebook page from March 1 through April 15, 2012.

AWARD/PRIZE

The first-place winners in each category will receive cash prizes of $2,500, second-place winners will receive $1,000, and third-place winners $500. The Facebook Fans’ Choice winners in each category will receive $250. In addition, first place winners will be featured in Sherwin-Williams STIR Magazine and all contest winners will be featured in the Sherwin-Williams STIR eExtra email newsletter and on the Sherwin-Williams Designer and Architect Facebook page in May.

JURY

Official contest judge and Sherwin-Williams director of color marketing Jackie Jordan will select a first-, second- and third-place winner for both the residential and commercial design categories. In addition, Facebook fans will get a chance to select two “Facebook Fans’ Choice” winners – one in each category – with the two student entries getting the most votes receiving the honor.
