The Acer Incredible Green Contest is now accepting entries from all students who have a green-centric tech idea that can generate innovative and sustainable solutions for energy saving, carbon reduction, and other environmental issues the world is facing today. Tech-based designs will be judged on whether they are: earth friendly (40%), reality friendly (40%), innovation friendly (20%), and concerned with factors such as climate, conservation, affordability, applicability, and availability. Registration closes on October 31, 2012 and submissions will be accepted until November 15, 2012. Eight teams will receive prizes of up to $60,000 and finalists and People’s Choice Award entries will receive an array of other special prizes.

Finalist teams (up to 2 members/team) fly to Taipei Taiwan for COMPUTEX 2013 and complementary sightseeing tour
