Ann Arbor-based Current Motor was hanging out in the basement at the Detroit Auto Show's Aisin Green Drive Experience - a cool indoor track where journalists can take a spin in a number of vehicles including electric cars and these awesome scooters. "Scooter" might be understating it a bit, because even though you can charge a Current Motor Super Scooter with a standard 110-volt household outlet in 4 hours, you get a 40-mile range and a max speed of 64 miles per hour with these bikes - plus all kinds of cool electronic toys to monitor your ride.

    Sure would like to see a fully enclosed version of the Current Scooters. Imagine the fairing of the Organic Transit ELF and the backend of this set of cycles. A 3 wheel version of this with the fairing would be even more awesome!
