Halloween is today! If you've yet to conjure up a costume, why not get crafty and create this crustacean-themed shrimp nigiri sushi roll look? This getup comes to us courtesy of Erin Poling, who was a finalist in last year's Green Halloween costume contest, and uses just a few recycled ingredients to achieve a truly mouthwatering end result. Read on for DIY instructions on how to create the look yourself!
MATERIALS:
- White styrofoam packing peanuts
- An old foam mattress pad
- A piece of wide black or dark green ribbon
- Pink and green felt
- Orange spraypaint
STEP 1:
First, glue the packing peanuts together to create a “sheet” of rice.
STEP 2:
Then cut the foam mattress pad into the shape of a shrimp and spray paint it orange.
