Dumpster Transformed Into a Trashtastic Portable Mini Pool

If it’s icy cold where you are right now, why not treat yourself to a warm mental escape and feast your eyes on Louisa Dawson [4]‘s awesome mini-pool made from a repurposed dumpster? We’ve reported on dumpster pools [5]popping up in the past, but this quirky little design takes a step back and offers a more private approach for those interested in dumpster diving.

While the exterior of the pool remains as rough and gritty as the dumpsters [6] you’d see on city streets, Dawson added an extra bit of polish with traditional pool tiles and a cool stainless steel ladder. Designed as functional art able to be installed on any site, the pool is portable and simply requires a quick fill for the splashing to begin.
