I second this endorsement. This book is amazingly broad. I also appreciate how they have a quick calllout of the different eco strategies the product incorporated. Very few single products are entirely sustainable. There always seems to be a catch somewhere. Its interesting to compare and contrast the sustainable recipes the designers use. For instance, could product A have met it’s design goals, if it had used product B’s approach to materials.
Just wondering, I am an Interior Designer from Australia, are the products recommended in this book all American? or is it useful aside from the product recommendations?
The products are from all over the world.
is it interesting for a professionals on ecodesign without a design background?
thank you
Sounds great, but does it cover real world building technologies, and products. Solar, greywater, drainage, roads etc. etc? is it thorough or skimpy on details? Look forward to your replies. keep up the good work!
