Seeking to produce a classic radio for the modern user, Emily Hesslegrave [2] has designed Just Radio [3], a small radio with a touchscreen that is made from reclaimed natural timber wood. According to Hesslegrave, the “cabinet” design evokes historic radios. With its handcrafted finish and natural dyes, Just Radio pays homage to a time when all radios were made from natural materials. The radio also features wooden knobs on the top, purple leather trim and it has been finished  with organic wax.
