Enormous Anglerfish on Wheels Storm Sydney’s VIVID Light Festival in Australia

Follow the Current was easily one of the most exciting installations at this year’s VIVID Sydney festival . Comprised of digitally-printed designs on lycra and chiffon, along with fins, bobble eyes, and giant teeth – all made with about 50 meters of fabric donated by Sublitech – each anglerfish is wrapped around a bicycle fitted with fish-shaped accessories.
Illuminated from within , the fish then “swam” around the city streets, wowing spectators with their otherworldly presence. This is the first time we have featured work by this Australian collective, but we have a very sneaky suspicion that it won’t be the last!
