Yuya Ushida is a Japanese industrial designer who enjoys designing products that make people happy. From his very own studio called Yuya vs. Design, he creates objects using domestic everyday materials and traditional building techniques. The Paper Tea Set is a magical collection of ephemeral tea elements, each folded from one single sheet of coated paper, tighten using a biodegradable cotton string and wooden ball.
While the reused paper’s own graphics add a unique aesthetic value to every piece, the fact that they are made to be only just once, remind us to slowly enjoy one of life’s simple pleasures: drinking tea.
