Gallery: Nissan to Release ESFLOW Its Sexier, Sportier LEAF at the Gene...

Nissan is bringing a sportier, sexier electric car to the Geneva Auto Show next month: The 2011 ESFLOW concept. The car has a lightweight aluminum chassis, and the same laminated lithium-ion battery found in the 2011 Nissan LEAF. The company announced today that the two-seater sports coupe features a dual motor rear-wheel drive, can go from 0-62 mph in under five seconds and has a range of about 150 miles per charge. Scope out a video of the new ride here.

Your absolutely right. Costs are too high at the moment. However, the only way to reduce prices are experiences in the production and large scales. Therefore its important that car makers do produce. Just think about the time before the PC Boom, nobody could think about them standing in every household!!!

Yes, but can they do it for under $12K. It is great to build something so expensive as to be useless, but if you want to actually change things the masses have to be able to afford the stupid thing.

It´s great that carmakers offer cool EV despite of the insecurity of issues like batterie costs and cycle numbers as well as the range.
I´m curious about the reaction and acception of the users and whether EVs can be seen in every road soon.
