The slightest splash of greenery can do wonders for transforming a concrete jungle into a more livable and enjoyable environment. To help city dwellers add a bit more green into their park-starved surroundings, Philadelphia-based Shift Space Design has created FAIRMOUNT, an easy DIY gardening kit perfect for green roof, balcony, or sidewalk applications. This lightweight and compact flat-pack system consists of four connecting aluminum tiles that easily bend to fit various shapes. Each kit also comes with upcycled La Colombe soil bags, filter fabric root barriers, and rubber feet. Want to get your green thumb on?
