Hudson River Park’s Chelsea Cove on Pier 62 recently opened a beautiful carousel and covered it with an expansive green-roofed canopy that is topped with solar panels to keep the carousel spinning. CRStudios Architects designed the canopy to protect the park goers and to keep the carousel’s vivid lights energized and shining bright. The complex is a sophisticated and fun addition to New York City’s longest continuous river park.
