Gallery: Fantastic Norway Makes Giant Pixelated Cloud Out of 3000 Cardb...

Looking very much like a pixelated cloud right out of an old school Super Mario game, this giant mass of cardboard boxes floated above visitors to the Centre for Design and Architecture (DogA) in Oslo, Norway. Conceived and implemented by Fantastic Norway, the installation was made up of over 3,000 cardboard boxes in all shapes and sizes. After the "Cardboard Cloud" served its purpose as a delightful spectacle that loomed over the event space, it was taken apart and all of the boxes were recycled after the show.

    Really interesting piece, I would have loved to see them use life boxes instead of regular boxes and have plants start to grow out of the boxes, or when they recycled them donated them to urban gardens to help green urban areas.
