The exhibition was held in order to present brand new design objects, and Fantastic Norway [1] decided to honor that idea by making their installation speak to the thrill of unpacking a product. The cardboard [2] boxes were hung throughout the 350m2 event hall, hovering over the various objects being exhibited. The clustered boxes created nooks and crannies and descended to the floor at some spots to surround some of the displays.

Cardboard Cloud was a big hit with showgoers and even garnered attention on rapper Kanye West’s blog [3]. And while this particular installation was handled by professionals, who’s to stop you from recreating it on a smaller scale in your house or apartment?
