Everyday, restaurants and pizzerias of Turin use approximately 14,900 tomato cans, resulting in 5 millions cans per year doomed to be left in a landfill. 30,000 Pizzas is an art installation and bunker built by Farwaste composed of 1,100 of those tomato cans reclaimed. Farwaste created the piece as a way to press restaurants and locals to reflect upon the size of this waste footprint and to encourage them to recycle.
