The Palva family doesn't need to pack up their car or pay for expensive flights to get away from the pressures of urban life. Instead, they need only walk or bike 2 kilometers from their Helsinki home down a nature trail to their tranquil seaside cottage. Designed by Verstas Architects to have a meager footprint of only 14 square meters, the Palvas' home away from home has the lightest possible impact on a leafy park in the heart of the city. In fact, small urban cottages like this one, which are apparently en vogue in Finland, actually help to protect the ecology and social security of Helsinki's urban parks.

    where can I learn more about this cottage, e.g. is it custom build or prefabricated, if the later one can I get contact to builder or supplier, etc.
