German furniture company Schulte poses a clever and well-designed solution to the winter’s chill with its Fire Furniture line, in which a small fireplace is integrated into a wood and stainless steel coffee table and pedestal. Plus, the fire is produced using a liquid that is both smoke and emission-free. The Fire Furniture collection debuted at the IMM Cologne furniture fair, which ended this past weekend.

Do you breathe?? If so then you must produce carbon dioxide as well… which means that humans must be bad for the environment. Perhaps we should all live in our own little bubbles.
Anyways, love the design. Very clean.

A neat idea. It’s very chic, but it’s not green.
All fire creates carbon dioxide. Though it may not have any visible smoke, it’s still chugging out CO2 emmissions into our atmosphere.
