Contemporary condo design gets quite literally fishy in this stackable Fish Hotel designed to mimic a modern high-rise. The quirky aquatic condo conceived by Teddy Luong and sold by Umbra won Canada’s Build a Better competition with its simple but pleasing design that creates habitat in a compact space. The 7.5 x 7.5 x 8 inch ABS box holds an open-air glass bowl which allows for the tanks to rest on each other, making it appear as though they live in Jean Nouvel’s latest Manhattan condo. The aquarium can be painted to custom match any interior, and the price is right as well – it fetches a modest $35 per floor.
