I agree with Sarah, this tank is so small that a heater cannot be used safely (bettas’ water should be kept around 80F), and will need very frequent cleaning which may be difficult when the units are stacked.

This is totally unsuitable housing for any fish, particularly a Betta as pictured which requires heat to live a happy healthy life. It’s very sad to think people might actually buy these and think it’s acceptable to keep a living creature in it.

@liam, Honestly there is no “green” angle to this (that I can think of outside of fish urbanism). Sometimes our editors just like to feature great design.
