The first images of Fisker’s next model, the Atlantic plug-in hybrid, have leaked onto the internet ahead of the model’s upcoming debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show. Originally dubbed the Fisker Nina project, the Atlantic will be Fisker’s second model following the larger Karma that is already on sale.
From these first photos, it’s obvious that the Fisker Atlantic will borrow many styling cues from the larger Karma. Official details about the Fisker Atlantic are scarce, but we do know that it will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder range extender BMW engine. It’s also expected that Fisker’s most affordable model will be priced around $45,000 when the Atlantic is released in the second half of 2013.
The Fisker Atlantic will be officially unveiled this week in New York so stay tuned for our coverage of the show.
