You have to hand it to start-up car makers like Fisker ^[4]. In order to compete with established automakers, they have to crank out whole product lines in just a few years, and building even one hybrid ^[5] or electric vehicle ^[6] from the ground up in just two or three years is a challenge even for the biggest players in the game. So imagine the midnight oil being burned over at Fisker to bring not just the Karma ^[7] to market, but an entire new vehicle lineup, including a crossover, a convertible based on the 2009 Sunset concept, and a miniature tribute to the original Karma sedan–which itself is still awaiting EPA certification.

According to What Car? in the UK, Fisker’s ^[7] next release will be a crossover, which the company will unveil in concept form next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Then, a hardtop convertible will come to market in 2013, based on the 2009 Sunset convertible concept pictured above. And to complete the lineup, a baby Karma called Project Nina is also planned for a 2013 release, which will bring the price of a Fisker down to something more people can afford.
