I really like this design.
This design reminds me of an idea I was in a couple of years earlier. I never thought to design a floating settlement.
At that time the idea arose because in the area where I live most of the lowland, and nearly 70%, wetlands, flood the whole year on the water. to build residential housing developers hoarding on wetlands.Previously many homes – homes Poster as existing homes in the wetlands, but the poster has started at left by palembang society.
Construction of houses that use wetlands is increasing and threatened the loss of wetlands as water catchment areas, potentially flooding in the future.From my sense of anxiety is floating the idea to build the settlement came at a time a few years ago. I have tried to offer to colleagues – fellow architects but they doubt and assume the idea is not absurd, and to realize the idea is very costly.Now I feel more confident with the existence of this plan, that the premises I have met people who have the same idea.
I hope you Monika Wierzba as people who have had the inspiration to design a floating settlement can assist in designing residential floating in tidal wetlands and wetlands, which I hope to open up new business opportunities housing, tackling the problem of limited land, the idea of social settlement cheap homes for the poor, avoids wetlands, watershed, to prevent flooding in the future due to the accumulation of settlement construction, as the water storage in the dry season, and so on.
