Design studio Foldability recently unveiled the Chloe Pendant, their newest line in origami lighting in honor of the John Lewis department store chain’s 150th anniversary. The exquisite hanging lamp is constructed from 70 origami paper squares, each folded and pieced together by hand for a wonderfully full and 3D effect. Rather than using traditionally delicate origami paper, the designers cut the squares out of specially prepared, translucent parchment paper produced by the Italian company Fedrigoni.
