Fontegrise salvages old industrial molds from French factories and uses them to create beautiful industrial-chic tables, shelves, and stools. The brand was created by a team of young designers and craftsmen, all of whom are in their twenties. The molds bear the patina of many years of use, and many look like readymade objets d’art – some were even used in the construction of the Queen Mary ocean liner. these dont seem very functional, not very innovative use of the molds, and the hardware seems cheap.
