Gallery: Ford Announces That Its Evos ...

We showed you pictures of the lovely Ford EVOS plug-in hybrid gullwing concept before, and now we get to tell you the good news: the EVOS is quickly becoming a reality, making its U.S. debut in January. The vehicle was just unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and will come stateside to the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in 2 months with a lithium ion battery pack and plug-in hybrid drivetrain. Ford designer J Mays described the looks of the EVOS as intended "not to provoke, but to seduce." Well, mission accomplished. We thought it would take at least a few more years for an automaker to come up with a vehicle anywhere near as beautiful as the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione but starring a green powertrain, but here it is.
