Form and Fauna is a brand new shoe line that respects both the animal kingdom and style in their design process – pleasing vegans, environmentalists, and fashionistas alike. The shoes are handcrafted utilizing ethical materials, such as the best quality Italian synthetics. What does that mean exactly? Apparently no noxious substances remain in the final product, which is biodegradable. For the heels, bamboo and regenerative wood is used. The shoes have recycled fiber insoles and either rubber latex or compressed fermented oak outsoles. Finally, all of these good materials come together with the use of water-based glue resulting in a durable shoe that kicks your vegan style up a notch.

I love all the new innovations that are coming out with eco friendly shoes. Simple Shoes is another brand helping lead the way – check em out!

LOVE this brand. I bought 2 pairs last season and have nothing but rave reviews. The fit is great and the fact that they are domestically made out of responsible product is unbeatable. Glad to see a line that is eco-conscious AND pretty!

These shoes are very fashionable. I love the look of them. Where can I get a pair. They are trendy, fun and eco-conscious, What more could you ask for??

seriously… why is every eco-conscious line so ugly (yes, including this one)? just make something classic and basic that a lot of people actually need and will wear regularly, then you will have more success making the world more interested in eco-friendly products.

    sean,

I believe that is a light reflection. I saw them in person at designers & agents and can assure you that they do not come pre-scuffed.

Does water-based glue mean that these will fall apart in the rain?

The heels are pretty cute, I don’t like the boots at all but aside form that, it’s nice to know that there’s yet another responsible manufacturer out there.

These shoes are really cool! Most “eco” shoes don’t look very good…

    Where can I buy them?
