At first glance, this metal contraption does not look like something you could, or would physically want to, sit on. But turns out it's a prototype for the Lit Scooter, a cargo-bearing variation on the classic fuel-efficient Vespa. Cargo is meant to be stored in that giant box-shaped hole, and the whole thing collapses like an accordion for storage.

There were several of these attractive chicken coops by “Rustic Coops” posted throughout West Coast Green. It’s great to see a project take the character of its materials (i.e. the “rusticity” of used wood) and employ it as a design feature.

Some of the most eye-catching stand-outs in the long line of booths were these lanterns made from recycled metal by Living Green Design Solutions. The finishes on the lanterns are also non-toxic.
