Crystal's GreenQuest line of custom cabinetry uses the usual sustainable suspects: bamboo, water-based finishes, and FSC-certified wood. We were fans of the Alice-In-Wonderlandish construction, and for added intrigue, the inset panels on the cabinet are made of an agricultural byproduct of sorghum crops.
There were several of these attractive chicken coops by “Rustic Coops” posted throughout West Coast Green. It’s great to see a project take the character of its materials (i.e. the “rusticity” of used wood) and employ it as a design feature.
Some of the most eye-catching stand-outs in the long line of booths were these lanterns made from recycled metal by Living Green Design Solutions. The finishes on the lanterns are also non-toxic.
