"Ron Paul has a history of voting against tax incentives for wind power."

To be fair, Ron Paul never votes for energy tax incentives... period. If we stopped giving such huge tax incentives to big oil companies, smart money would be more likely to gravitate towards more renewable energy solutions.

"Why the candidates won’t step up and say they support an industry that is creating jobs, keeping our air clean, conserving resources and making people money is well beyond our comprehension"

Government resources are finite. Yes, turbines are a good thing for the economy and environment, but it is not a slam dunk. There are plenty of other ways to spend our tax dollars which could also benefit workers and the environment, so it is not 'beyond comprehension' that someone would not support subsidizing that industry.

As for Paul, he has a history of voting against incentives period. Take the good with the bad and know that he's also voting against subsidies for agribusiness and the oil industry.
