These days most of what is on grocery store shelves has been engineered to taste and look a certain way. Countless researchers are currently at work trying to figure out what effects these modified “foods” could have on our bodies — they’ve already found that genetically modified foods (GMO’s) can affect birth weight and infant mortality. Now, scientists in Russia recently discovered one horrifying consequence — GMO’s might cause “long term sterility” — that is sterility in 2nd or 3rd generations of offspring. This epigenetic discovery was made by the Russian equivalent to our US National Association for Gene Security and has not been officially published yet.
